On Friday 29th december 2024, we hosted another successful Umbraco Community Friday, and it was a fantastic experience! The event brought together our team and several new attendees who were eager to learn and grow.
The event kicked off with a hands-on session where everyone installed Umbraco 15 on their laptops.. Bishal did an excellent job of guiding us through the process, walking us through the steps on the projector, making sure that everyone, regardless of experience, could follow along.
Special thanks to our host Pasang Tamang for making everyone feel welcome. He patiently answered questions and ended the session by sharing exciting plans for future Contribution Fridays- with a vision to host similar meetups in various locations. We’re eager to see local communities come together and contribute to Umbraco!
The day wasn’t all work, though! Over lunch, we had casual conversations and shared laughs.
As part of the event, we also explored ways to contribute to #Umbraco open-source community, whether it’s by creating Umbraco packages or contributing to Umbraco core issues. 💪
